Calling All Ag Students!

AirplaneOften times we hear about how the world, and more specifically, agriculture, will be left in the hands of our young people. The Grains Foundation and the National FFA Organization have partnered to offer college students an opportunity of a lifetime to learn more about agriculture and market development.

Only 12 lucky college students will be accepted to participate in the International Collegiate Agricultural Leadership (I-CAL) program, in which they will travel to Malaysia and Taiwan to continue their education in agriculture. The trip will take place May 16-28, 2010.

2009 participant and Iowa State University graduate, Michelle Euken said, “Having my eyes opened to the world was pretty amazing. I now understand the importance of market development and will continue to promote U.S. agricultural trade in my personal and professional career.”

What a wonderful opportunity for college students! Pass this information along to family and friends!
